A makeup sponge is a must-have in your routine. With it you can apply your foundation, highlighter, concealer and even cream blusher. Thanks to its versatility, it allows you to work with almost any type of product, whether fluid, creamy or even compact.
Sponge instructions usually state that the sponge should be dampened before use to allow it to expand in size.
Once wet, the sponge will spread the makeup evenly, avoiding leaving marks on the face, as well as achieving a natural finish. As a different option, you can try using it dry to achieve greater coverage, but you should always check the product's instructions first.
Apply a reasonable amount of foundation to the back of your hand and dip the sponge into it. This will allow you to better dose the amount of foundation you apply to your face
Gently dab the foundation onto the skin, avoiding dragging the product for a flawless finish. To apply foundation to less accessible areas, use the end of the sponge, and for larger areas, apply foundation with the lower part of the sponge.
If the matte look is vour favourite, you can dab your powder on with a makeup sponge.
